Thieves have targeted a popular Sussex pub and brewery in a daring early-morning burglary — stealing around 120 kegs of beer.
The break-in happened at The Arundel Taphouse, near Lyminster Road in Arundel, at around 6:30am on Sunday morning.
CCTV captured the moment intruders entered the site and made off with the haul, belonging to Arundel Brewery.
Staff described the theft as a “huge blow” to the business, coming just before their busiest time of the year.
In a statement, the team said:
“Our brewery was burgled early this morning. 120 of our kegs have been stolen. This is a massive setback for us, especially right before the festive season. Please share this post and contact us if you see or hear anything.”
A photo of the type of kegs stolen has been shared by the brewery as they appeal for information.
Anyone with information or who may have seen suspicious activity near The Arundel Taphouse early Sunday morning is urged to get in touch with Arundel Brewery or Sussex Police.
