A man has been charged following the theft of luggage from London Gatwick Airport.
The incident happened around 6pm on Wednesday, October 30, in the South Terminal. Police said a suitcase was stolen from the baggage area before the suspect left the airport on foot.
Following an investigation and public appeal, officers arrested John Brooks, 52, of Brighton Road, Crawley.
He has been charged with theft and criminal damage and is due to appear before Crawley Magistrates’ Court on November 25.
Sussex Police thanked the public for their help in identifying the suspect.
