A man has been charged following a serious assault that left another man in hospital in Eastbourne.
Police were called to Canute Close on 26 October after reports of an attack. A 66-year-old man was found with serious injuries and remains in hospital in a stable but serious condition.
Cameron Grocutt, 24, of no fixed address, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm and driving while disqualified.
He appeared before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 8 November, where he was remanded in custody pending further hearings.
Officers are continuing to investigate the incident and have appealed for anyone with information or dash-cam footage to come forward.
